Poster Design Competition

Local residents from Fincham Arts and Social Group helped run a fun day at the Roundabout Youth Club where one of the rooms was converted into a grotto.

One of the attractions that took place on the day was a drug awareness stand run by Huyton Community Partnership Ltd Drug Prevention Project. The stand provided information packs for children and parents who visited the grotto.

The drug project also ran three competitions to promote drugs awareness and winners received gift vouchers. One of the competitions was to design a poster that related to drugs.

Chris Brown, aged 13, won first place for his poster design through originality. Judges felt that the message portrayed was clear and raised awareness of the effects of drug misuse.
