Reading ‘Extra’ - read all about it!

Celebrated young people’s author David Clayton meets pupils from Knowsley Hey to talk about the fun to be had from books. Picture below shows David, with LEA KS3 Literacy consultant, Gordon Sutton, and various staff members, helping the youngsters to launch their reading club.

Funding from Education Extra has enabled the club, one of several across the borough, to be funded and its creation marks the start of a real emphasis on fun in reading.
