New Deal - New Future for North Huyton

North Huyton New Deal New Future logoNorth Huyton New Deal for Communities (NDC) is a regeneration initiative with £55.8 million to invest in the North Huyton NDC area over 10 years. It aims to remove barriers to achievement that many North Huyton residents experience in their day-to-day lives. Local people have identified their main concerns as employment and the local economy, education, health, housing, the environment, crime and community safety, young people and image.

NDC is a partnership led by local people with support from Knowsley Council, the police, the health authority and other agencies that serve the communities of North Huyton. The North Huyton NDC area covers just over 4,000 homes in Hillside, Primalt, Fincham, Finch House and Woolfall.

Huyton Today is planning to feature the work of the NDC in a future edition. In the meantime, on this issue we are featuring two recent NDC initiatives aimed at providing long-term help the people of North Huyton.
