Green Goings On At Boodecroft

Arts workshop at Boodecroft Gala Day (21KB)

Stockbridge Village residents have been making the most of their new community park, after staging a fun filled environmental gala day. With the help of Knowsley Council and a number of other environmental organisations, a local community group have taken action to reclaim derelict land at Boodecroft Green.

The green fun day was a celebration of all the hard work that has been carried out by the group. Highlights of the day included a bird of prey display, along with an arts workshop, run by Knowsley Council’s environmental artist, Nancie Price and a ‘Wet the Warden’ competition run by Stockbridge Village Neighbourhood Wardens.

The residents association is now consulting with other local people and businesses to decide how the site should be best used in the future.

Stockbridge Village residents are being encouraged to have their say by contacting the Goundwork Trust on 01744 739396.
