Barnardo’s Wider Horizons Project needs volunteers aged 16+ to help support children with disabilities to have fun on integrated playschemes throughout Knowsley during the summer holidays.
Volunteers are also needed for ongoing evening and weekend work with children or young people up to 20 years of age, helping them to take part in a range of inclusive play and leisure opportunities.
If you have patience, enthusiasm, a positive attitude to disability and enjoy working with children or young people, then please contact Tania at the address below.
We offer volunteers training, support and pay travel expenses. Volunteers have the chance to gain experience of working with disabled children or young people whilst having fun at the same time.
