HRH unveiled a plaque renaming it Willowbrook Hospice, following a public campaign to arrive at a new and appropriate name.
Princess Alexandra arrived at lunchtime and, after meeting local
dignitaries, was escorted on a tour of the Hospice by
Lady Kirsty Pilkington, Chairman of the Management Council. Les Johnston, Director of Fundraising, spoke to Huyton Today about this very special visit, and the warm memories held by those who were present. Huyton Today wishes much fundraising success for one of its favourite local charities.
