Guests from local businesses, education and partner agencies were amongst an audience of over 150 who watched a presentation of a new promotional video highlighting leisure and community projects that Knowsley Council will take into the new millennium.
BBC Radio Merseyside sports presenter Alan Jackson hosted the evening during which he interviewed people from across the community about their experiences in using sports, arts and educational facilities provided by the Borough and which have helped enrich their lives.
Cllr Graham Morgan, Chair of Knowsley’s Leisure Committee said, “The evening proved a great success and provided an opportunity to promote the Department’s services to a wide audience. The message to the people of the Borough is that Knowsley Council is committed to providing accessible Leisure Services which will reach more people and offer something for everyone into the new millennium.”
