Chess players of all ages converged on the Huyton Suite on Sunday 7th November. A total of 114
competitors from all corners of England including London, Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire,
Cheshire and Merseyside took part in the second Knowsley Rapid Play Chess Tournament.
The tournament was a huge success and attracted sponsorship from Barclaycard, BLCC, Whitbread, AEEU and Hayes & Finch. Next years Millennium Rapid Play Chess Tournament will be held in the Huyton Suite on Sunday 5th November 2000. Further details are available on 0151 443 3405/3679. |
