The Great Egg Race, King George V Playing Fields.
11.00am – 3.00pm.
A feat of engineering to defy the laws of gravity.
See what your team can come up with in this race to launch the furthest
egg. You don’t have to be in a team to participate, just turn up on
the day and enjoy the fun.

|
Gardening on the Wild Side, King George V Playing Fields.
11.00am - 3.00pm.
How does your garden grow? Suffering from spindly
seedlings, rust or an invasion of horrible creepy crawlies? Bring your
samples along (tightly sealed if likely to escape) for our panel of
local horticulturists to examine. Find out from the experts how they
do things and see what’s happening in your local parks and open spaces.

|
Wetland Wander, Huyton Wetland Park.
1.00pm - 3.00pm.
Come along and meet Al the Ranger for a guided tour
of the Wetland. Afterwards find out more about the history and wildlife
of the Wetland.

May 20th
|
Bowring Park Heritage Fair, Bowring Park.
12.00pm – 4.00pm.
Spend a fun day with the “Friends of Bowring Park”
where you can learn more about the history of Bowring Park and enjoy
many other special attractions.

May 27th
|
Green Fayre, Court Hey Park.
12.00 - 5.00pm.
Come and join in the Knowsley Green
Fayre and Farmers Market. Enjoy the festivities, browse the stalls and
join in with the craft or circus workshops. Other attractions will include
mid-summer ice skating, story telling and bush tuckers walks through
the park.
