June 30th saw the retirement of Geoff Crowley, Curriculum Development Manager for Huyton Compact. A familiar face in all of the Knowsley schools, Geoff will be greatly missed.

June 30th was also the last day of the PRIDE project led by Knowsley Compact. The team - Geoff Crowley, Mike Colvin, Peter Carr and Liz Hobbs - had worked extremely hard to implement the project whose aim was, as the name suggests, to promote pride in Merseyside.

The project was extremely successful and involved countless young people from the borough.

Huyton Today would like to wish all the members of the team the very best of luck in the future.
