The Knowsley Show 2000

A day-long extravaganza was the format of this year’s Knowsley Show at Bridgefield Forum Leisure Centre, Halewood.

Medieval jousting and battles, motor bike stunt teams (pictured above) and a giant fairground formed the main backdrop to one of the region’s best free shows. Thousands of people attended the event, which proved a terrific day out.

The entertainment also included a bouncy castle, quad bike rides, live music and an animal farmyard. A full range of food and drink facilities was available alongside a large beer tent, which proved a welcome relief in the summer weather.
